  While staying in town last week we asked locals for some ideas for restaurants around Port Angeles. Usually a local will give you the name of the higher end, 4 or 5 star joints. After eating at a few of those during the week I decided to jump online and see what internet reviews said. Dupuis was rated well and seemed to have a funny charm behind the stories online, so we decided our last night in town to try them...

  Yes, the outside of the building lacks elegance, but the food and service are excellent.
  
  I had the Seafood Gnocchi and my husband enjoyed a Rib-Eye. Both cooked to perfection.
  
  The charm of this place is that they not only have good food and service, but many old relics and music from the 40s era. Very patriotic too. We so enjoyed this place and wish we had something like this back home :) Go...you won't regret it!

  We passed this place a number of times, and to be honest...the outside is VERY deceiving! It's much bigger on the inside, and very charming with soft warm lighting, antiques and depression era glass. Bob sat playing lovely music on his piano, and what a warm friendly staff! We talked with Bob most of the time we were there as it was right before closing. I had the cioppino, their oyster stew (Omgosh!!) Warm Bavarian wheat rolls, with mango honey butter. I don't think I stopped making yum yum sounds through the whole meal! My husband had the Osso Bucca Pork, an amazing salad, loaded sweet potato, and of course those wonderful warm Bavarian rolls and butter! I am SO glad we finally stopped in there! Already looking forward to going back! Thank you Toni, Cookie and Bob! See ya soon!
